Medicinski Glasnik (MG) is the official publication (two times per year) of the Medical Association of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Manuscripts that present of original basic and applied research from all fields of medicine (general and clinical practice, and basic medical sciences) are invited.

Open Access Journal 
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

Medicinski Glasnik will publish peer-reviewed articles as early as possible. All articles will be published (at PubMed, as well as at the Journal official web site) as Epub ahead of print as soon as they are accepted and edited for publication. Free-full text articles will be available immediately on publication.

Each article receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) which is unique for every article published in the journal and is used for easier referencing and archiving.

Guidelines for authors is in accordance with the text: International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Uniform Requirements for Manuscript (URM) Submitted to Biomedical Journals (www.icmje.org) 

Journal has been indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch) from 2006 to 2012; currently we are reapplying for indexing in SCIE.
